As spring unfolds and excitement builds, we’re thrilled to announce an incredible initiative led by our passionate supporter, Christian! On May 18th, he will be lacing up his running shoes and taking on the Hackney Half Marathon, not just for personal achievement, but to raise vital funds and awareness for the Limbe Wildlife Centre (LWC).

Why Does This Matter?

The Limbe Wildlife Centre plays a crucial role in the rescue and rehabilitation of endangered wildlife in Cameroon. Species like the endangered drills and the Nigeria-Cameroon chimpanzees are often victims of illegal wildlife trade, habitat destruction, and human conflict. Through LWC’s dedicated efforts, these animals receive the care they desperately need, along with a chance for a better future. Each mile brings Christian one step closer to helping endangered wildlife in Cameroon. Training for this marathon is challenging, just like the fight for wildlife conservation.
