The Putty-nosed Guenon is olive green/greyish fur all over it's body, except for on the face. The face has a blue tint and a distinctive white spot nose. They have an exceptionally long tail.

They eat mainly fruit. Seeds, leaves, arthropods, and gum also constitute a major part of their diet. They have special cheek pouches which they use to store food while foraging.
