The Crowned Guenon has three black stripes on the forehead with white to yellow fur in between. The rest of he head is black, the face is greuish blue with white fur on the cheeks and a pink muzzle. The back and tail are brown and the underbody is white.

They eat mainly fruit, seds and shoots but also eat animal prey in he form of insects.
